艺术系学生Linh搬进新家后，遇到了一个鬼魂。她帮助他揭开神秘的死因，并意识到什么才是她生命中最重要的。
该片讲述了双胞胎姐妹如花和如玉一家，由于三峡工程的需要，被政府统一移民安置到东台市学习和生活的故事，爸爸妈妈因为有事要很迟才到东台，奶奶带着如花和如玉先到了东台，但奶奶由于过度思乡出现了精神障碍，如花和如玉决定每天留下一人照顾奶奶，另一人上学。但两人不同的性格让不知内情的小伙伴们诧异不已，于是相约跟踪调查。“心怀鬼胎”、“田边密谋”、“鬼祟跟踪”……行动暴露却穷词诡辩，“三个火枪手”将小孩子的多变习性、淘气可爱演绎得淋漓尽致。
